This year, the Gromek Institute for Fashion Business participated in the National Retail Federation's Big Show & Student Program in New York City—a four-day intensive designed to launch college students into retail careers. The program connects students directly with retail executives across marketing, merchandising, sustainability, technology, and more, who share their career stories and hard-won insights. Over the course of the experience, students explore diverse career paths, meet with recruiters from leading brands, and begin mapping their own futures in the industry. It's an accelerated immersion into what retail has to offer—and who's hiring. The NRF Foundation Student Program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, as well as educators and staff at U.S. colleges and universities.
